Bright Eyes – Herbal Eye Application. With a cooling action, it may relieve vata pitta eye ailments. According to tradition Bright Eyes cleanses the eyes. It may protect the eyes from sun, smoke, heat, pollution and possibly computer use. This eye wash is formulated based on Kerala Ayurvedic tradition and may also dissolve oxidised coating according to folklore..
As a daily ritual, begin the day wash your eyes with cool water.
Using your finger tip, 1 drop sized paste may be applied to the bottom, inner side of each eye lash, once or twice daily. Blink and move the eye around till the liquid has spread all over the eye. The eye may sting for a short time. After 10 minutes wash the eye out with cool water if you wish.
Avoid: If one has a chronic eye disease.

Turmeric (stem) – Berberis aristata – 96 g
Chebulic Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia chebula – 96 g
Belliric Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia bellirica – 96 g
Indian gooseberry fruit – Emblica officinalis Gaertn. – 96 g
Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 144 g
Coconut water – 8.172 liters
Camphor – Cinnamomum camphora – 12 g
Gambhari – Coomb Teak (root) – Gmelina arborea – 12 g
Saindhava Lavana – Rock salt – 6 g
Honey 170 g
We highly recommend a light and easy-to digest diet, with plenty of good cooling fats, like ghee or coconut oil. Best to avoid chilli, alcohol and when showering, ensure the water is only warm, so as to not overheat the head. Start the day by washing the face and eyes with cool water. To help support the eyes, Guluchyadi Kashayam may be taken. Guluchyadi Kashayam has cooling liver herbs that may soothe pitta and balance vata, and may correct liver function. Remember to eat plenty of fresh fruit and veggies and ONLY eat safe carbohydrates.
